Cinco De Mayo is In 1861,Benito jaurez to creditor countries which put Mexico in a financial bind. In response, France attacked Mexico to force payment of this debt. France decided that it would try to take over and occupy Mexico. France was successful at first in its invasion; however, on May 5, 1862, at the city of Puebla, Mexican forces were able to defeat an attack by the larger French army. In the Battle of Puebla, the Mexicans were led by General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. Although the Mexican army was victorious over the French at Puebla, the victory only delayed the French advance on Mexico city.



A year later, the French occupied Mexico. The French occupying forces placed Empoer Maximlillon on the throne of Mexico in 1864. The French, under pressure from the United States, eventually withdrew in 1866-1867. Maximilian was deposed by President Benito Juárez and executed, five years after the Battle of Puebla.


The Battle of Puebla was important for at least two reasons. First, although considerably outnumbered, the Mexicans defeated a much better-equipped French army. "This battle was significant in that the 4,000 Mexican soldiers were greatly outnumbered by the well-equipped French army of 8,000 that had not been defeated for almost 50 years."[13][14] Second, it was significant because since the Battle of Puebla no country in the Americas has been invaded by an army from another continent.[15]

My name is Steven Ugalde.And I'm 12 years old I was born in Austin ,Texas.I only live with my mom.She is Mexican and Spaniard.And my dad is Cuban and Mexican.He was born in Brownsville and my mom was born in Gonzalez,Texas.I'm proud to be Mexican and Cuban and Spaniard.

My Hispanic heritage is three types of heritages I'm Cuban,Mexican,Spaniard.I never really celebrate any of the Mexican Cuban celebrations.I celebrate one thing that is a Spanish celebration it is the holiday of the three kings.But even though that I'm Mexican than Spanish we still celebrate the three kings.It is a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of God made Man in the person of Jesus Christ. It falls on January 6th. Or in many countries, on the Sunday that falls between January 2nd and January 8th.Since the Calendar, which is followed by some Eastern Churches, is at present 13 days behind the Calendar and the revised Calendar. January in that calendar corresponds at present to 19th of January in what is the civil.It is calendar in most countries of the west. On this feast, Western Christians do the visitation of the Biblical to Baby Jesus. His dedication to the Eastern Christians countries. The baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, seen as his dedication to the world as the Son of God. It is also called Theophany especially by Eastern Christians.The types of food we eat chicken,rice,cookies and this special punch that is called tea.We play games and dance and play songs and we just have a blast my cousins and I play tag and we play with my uncles motorcycle.


But the one thing that i hate in this world is that we are separated by culture and i wish that we could be the same but made us different for a reason it is what makes us special in our own way by beening different so I wish that peace is continues on this planet I call home p.s earth too.

Living A Drug Free Life

Thats what happeneds when you do drugs!!!!!!!!!!
I think that using drugs is a bad thing to do cause it can mess up your life by you drooping out of school and maybe abusing some of your partners and for girls they could probably in up getting pregnant.I had a experience like cause I saw a movie that had to do with this problem . the movie was called 187 it means and sort of symbol that means something that is bad and I am not suppose to say it . First the teacher had stated at a knew school and he had problems with the students.

On the second day of school he had a group of girls that were doing drugs and having
s** . So when he caught them they were in big trouble but. So when he told them to go the office. They would not go to the office so one of the guys went over there and slapped them.Then she went to the mans house for tutoring and she was on drugs and got naked.SO I WILL LIVE A DRUG FREE LIFE.

POEM ;"When I was a young boy, the bully called me names, stole my bicycle, forced me off the playground. He made fun of me in front of other children, forced me to turn over my lunch money each day, threatened to give me a black eye if I told adult authority figures. At different times I was subject to a wide range of degradation and abuse -- de-pantsing, spit in my face, forced to eat the playground dirt....To this day, their handprints, like a slap on the face, remain stark and defined on my soul."

The best advice that someone told me was my abuela. She said that dont let anyone pick
on you. If they do pick on you then you talk to the teacher. If that does not work you
tell the Princalble. If they hurt you then you can defend your self and fight back. Some
people think that it is wrong but if they keep beating you and there is know teacher then
you fight back. That is the advice that my abuela.
